Unfortunately most rock clubs are in
Prague's suburbs. Though a few remain in city centre, some struggling to survive due to strict noise regulations. Popular choice in centre is Rock Café, though quite commercial, playing live rock (Narodni trida 20). There are quite a lot small Czech bands playing rock in small clubs, so check latest announcements in newspapers.
The club's ground floor houses the Jim Beam Bar, an internet cafe, concert hall, CD bazaar, and a store that sells recording and sound equipment. The Absolut bar (offering the complete assortment of Absolut vodka), a movie theater, and a gallery are located in the basement Address: Národní Třída 20, Prague 1 Getting there: Metro B to Národní Třída Hours: 10 a.m. - 3 a.m. (Mon-Fri), 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. (Sat) Website: www.rockcafe.cz
